Don Virgilio Velazco creates this Mezcal in San Luis del Rio, Tlacolula, Oaxaca. He uses Agave angustifolia (Espadín). The Agaves get cooked in an earth oven, grinded in a Tahoma. Fermentation takes place in pine wood barrels with wild yeast.
Distilled in a copper alambic  
Color: Clean
Nose: some smoke, fruits
Taste: citric fruits, cooked agave
