Family Velasco creates this Mezcal in San Luis del Rio, Oaxaca. They use Agave angustifolia (Espadín) to create this Mezcal
The Agaves get cooked traditionally in a ground hole with Leucaena and Sabino wood. Then the Agaves get grounded in a circular stone mill (tahona). Fermentation takes place in Pine and Sabino tree Barrels with natural yeast from the region. Finally twice destilled in cooper Pot Stills
