Charanda Uruapan Azul
Charanda is the Rum from Uruapan, Michoacán. Charanda is a term in Purépecha language meaning ‘red-colored soil’.
The name Charanda is protected since 2003.
Sugarcane juices are cold-extracted, fermented and double destilled. The result is a colorless crystalline spirit.
Certain tonalities of blue are seen in Premium distillations from handpicked sugarcanes when a maceration process is added.
Nose: fruit flavors such as quince, green apple, honey and lemon.
Taste: full in the mouth, a high body and structure that reflects its personality. Buttery sweet in taste like vanilla.
Best enjoyed straight at room temperature or as a mixer for an excellent cocktail
